Friends funding for the library’s landscape plan was approved by the Library Board spring of 2005.

The final phase includes 6 new Hawthorne trees on the front lawn.
The older trees were severely damaged by winter storms and also, showed insect damage.

The Library Board of Trustees and Staff thank the Friends of the Library for this most generous gift. Generations of Lake Foresters will enjoy this beautiful addition to our library.
