Search for and Reserve Movies in DVD2GO
There are two ways to search for and reserve movies.
You can search using the touchscreen on the DVD2GO unit in the train station to choose a movie, or
You can plan ahead and reserve your pick online on the DVD2GO page. You have 12 hours to retrieve your movies before the reserve expires. DVDs and Blu-Rays in the Lake Forest Library collection cannot be reserved.
When you go to the DVD2GO kiosk to pick up your movies, you will need to bring the same library card used to reserve the movies. (Knowing your library card number isn't enough; the DVD2GO kiosk needs to scan your physical card.)
Up to twenty DVD2GO items can be reserved or checked out at one time on an individual card
$1.00 per item per day
Where to Return
DVD2GO rentals must be returned at the DVD2GO kiosk (using the same library card used for checkout) when the train station is open. They cannot be returned to the Library or in the A/V and book drops. You will be responsible for fines accrued during transit if DVD2GO items are returned to the Library or A/V and book drops.
DVD2GO carries both DVDs and Blu-Rays. The DVD2GO collection is separate from the Library's collection. Movies in the Lake Forest Library collection cannot be reserved through the DVD2GO rental page.
When you search the Library catalog for movies, you will see a separate listing for DVD2GO items called "DVD in West Train Station." You will be prompted to click on www.DVD2GO.lakeforestlibrary.org to use the service.
