In the mere days before the start of World War Two, Thomas Miller accepts a teaching position at a finishing school in England. His students consist of the daughters of the most high-ranking German officers and officials and the most influential families in Nazi Germany. In this bubble, the tension between England and Nazi Germany is swept under the rug, and the girls are taught and brought up to be prepared members of Hitler's League of German Girls. With war on the horizon, Miller attempts to infiltrate the school and find out what is going on behind closed doors.
