Renowned rock climber Alex Honnold, 33, completes what some call the most dangerous free-solo ascent, becoming the first person to reach the top of Yosemite National Park's 3,200-foot El Capitan granite wall - 'the center of the rock-climbing universe' - without ropes or protective equipment. The feat took nearly four hours and was completed on June 3, 2017 following more than a year's preparation. The filmmakers are featured here amid discussions on the potential for tragedy.
