For one documentary filmmaker, John Chester, and his wife Molly, the dream has always been to get out of Los Angeles and live a simpler life. Although the journey starts out idyllic, it quickly becomes obvious that things are going to become a lot more difficult than they ever anticipated. Surrounded by roosters, pigs and other types of pets, they will face the wrath of Mother Nature as they attempt to build their sustainable farm. Although they're only 200 miles away from L.A., they may as well be a world apart from the life they once knew.
