For almost 40 years, Joan has been the spouse of prolific American writer, Joe Castleman. She has played the part of the good and charming wife, giving Joe her unwavering support as he pursued his writing aspirations. After a long career and an extensive body of work, Joe Castleman has been chosen to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. While the couple makes the journey to Stockholm, tensions begin to rise as Joan starts to reflect on her own life, including the sacrifices made and the secrets kept to ensure Joe achieved his dreams.
