The Safe @ Home program from Safe Sitter provides students in grades 4–6 with important safety training to help them be prepared to stay home alone. Students learn how to practice safe habits, handle common household emergencies, and address illness or injury.

Keep in mind that completing this program does not mean that a student is ready to stay home alone. Only the student's parents or caregivers can make that decision, based on the age, maturity, skills, experience, and confidence level of their child.
