We are open!
The building is open and services are restored. Most programming will remain virtual at this time.
As of August 5, 2021, masks are required for everyone over the age of 2. Thank you for your cooperation as we respond to the current transmission rate of COVID-19 in Lake County.
To place items on hold, visit the catalog. Once you receive a notification that your items are ready, you have 7 days to pick up your holds from the Reference Room.
Socially Distanced Visits
Please visit the building alone or with people in your immediate circle. Please do not move chairs or tables together. Extended seating is available at tables spread out in the Kasian Room. Please do not visit in groups. Thank you for always being considerate of others.
Quarantine of Returned Items
As of July 13, 2021, returned items are no longer being quarantined.
To adhere to physical distancing recommendations, most programs remain virtual, but check our calendar or follow the Library on Facebook for events in the Courtyards, on the Front Lawn, or at outdoor venues around town.
As we all have discovered, the situation is changing rapidly. Please check back on our website or social media pages for the latest information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to support health and safety measures as recommended by the CDC.
