What is DVD2GO?
DVD2GO is a fully automated, self service dispensing system featuring popular DVD movie titles.

Where is the DVD2GO system located?
You will find the DVD2GO inside the Milwaukee West Train Station, 911 S. Telegraph Road, Lake Forest.
It is available when the station is open, 5:30 am – 8 pm, Monday through Friday, and 5:30 am – 6 pm, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.

How do I check out a DVD?
You must have an active Lake Forest Library card with you to use the system. You cannot type in your number;
the machine has to scan it.

How much does it cost to check out a DVD movie?
There is no charge to check out a movie. The items are checked out on your Lake Forest library card.

How do I search for a DVD that I want to check out?
There are two ways to find titles. You can connect from any computer with internet access
to By entering your Lake Forest Library card number, you are
able to search for titles and reserve an available movie. You will have twelve (12) hours to retrieve
your DVDs before the reserve expires. You will need the same library card used to place the reserve
to retrieve the DVDs. The second way to search for a movie is to use the touch screen
on the DVD2Go unit at the Milwaukee West Train Station.

How many movies can I check out?
Each Lake Forest Library card may check out a total of three (3) DVD movies.

How long can I keep the movies?
Movies are loaned for three (3) days.

What if I return them past the due date?
Overdue fees are $1.00 per day.

Where do I return the movies?
DVDs checked out from DVD2GO must be returned to DVD2GO. You will need the same
Lake Forest Library card to check out and check in those movies. It must be in the DVD2GO case.
A fee will be added to your Library card if DVD2GO movies are not returned to the machine.

Why won’t DVD2GO read my card?
You must have an active Lake Forest Library card to use this service. You may need to clear
outstanding Library fines or confirm residency at the Lake Forest Library circulation desk,
360 E. Deerpath Road.

What if the machine took my disc, but gave an error message and did not
recognize the movie I returned. What should I do?

Occasionally, the machine may have trouble reading the barcode of a movie.
The machine will deposit these movies into a box in the back of the machine.
Please call the Library circulation desk and let us know of the problem.

What do I do if the disc is damaged?
If the disc is damaged, please return it to the Library at 360 E. Deerpath Road
and let the circulation staff know of the problem.

What should I do if the DVD2GO is out of service?
If the machine is out of service and you need to return a disc, you may return
it to the Lake Forest Library at 360 E. Deerpath Road and let the circulation staff know of the problem.
