Reading 1000 books seems like a big task. But if you read one book a day, that's 365 books in one year, 730 books in two years, and 1095 books in just 3 years.

Plus, books you hear in Library storytimes count, books you read for Summer and Winter Reading count, and re-reading the same books count each time you read them.

Get started with Beanstack

Register in the Beanstack app. You can then choose to track your books in the app and/or with paper log sheets. Both formats have the same milestones and prizes.

Visit the Youth Services Desk for your 1000 Books supplies.

You can use both the Beanstack app and paper log sheets. You may like the app because you can track book titles, whereas youngsters often benefit from the tactile experience of coloring in bubbles on the paper log sheets.

Earn a prize for every 100 books read

Bring your kiddo to the Children's Library to pick up their prizes and get their photo taken in celebration of reaching each milestone!
