Register and join us on Zoom with genealogist Thomas MacEntee to discover what to do with all your genealogy research. Instead of expecting yourself to write a family history book (daunting!), why not write short, 3–5 page "sketches" about an ancestor? We'll learn how to incorporate a cover, photos, facts, family stories, and citations.

Know Before You Go

To reserve your spot, please scroll down, select the Register button, and complete the registration form. Registration opens February 10 for spring events, May 10 for summer events, August 10 for fall events, and November 10 for winter events.

To respect the time of attendees and presenters, Library events begin on time. For events with limited capacity, only registered patrons are admitted. Please let us know if you must cancel so that a waitlisted person may attend. Contact us if you would like assistance with registration or have any questions.

This event is on Zoom and will be recorded. Once you register, you will receive an email with connection info. After the event, registrants will receive an email with info on accessing the recording, which are usually posted on the Library YouTube channel. Event times are in America/Chicago Central Time Zone.
