Program Description

Details

Register and join the Lake County Forest Preserves in person or on Zoom to marvel at the upcoming special year for cicadas. For the first time since 1803 (and not again until 2245!), the 13-year cicada and the 17-year cicada broods are emerging simultaneously. Get the buzz on both types of cicadas, where they will be emerging, and how they affect Lake County.
