Note about Placing "On-Shelf" Items on Hold
Important: If an item is available on our shelves at Lake Forest, for faster service please call 847.234.0636 to place a hold.
Placing a hold online in the catalog does not mean your hold is immediately available for pickup at the Library.
For items that are not currently on our shelves, or that are coming from other libraries, we will let you know when the item is available for pickup.
If you are considering visiting or using your Lake Forest Library card at a reciprocal library, we suggest you call the library ahead of time to verify their current hours and services.
Lake Forest Library is part of a library consortium that shares materials between libraries. You can use your Lake Forest Library card at any of the CCS member libraries. Most libraries will require you to register your card with them if it is your first time visiting.
