Spring is finally here! Celebrate Spring Break between Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 31 in the Lake Forest Library! Get out, stretch your legs and sharpen your mind!

Starting on Sunday, March 25, tackle your first challenge in the Children’s library Spring Break Scavenger Hunt and participate all week long for a chance to win prizes!

Baby Playtime

Friday, March 23 and 30, 9:30 am

Calling all children three years old and under … with their caregivers, of course! We’re ready to play! Get out of the house, leave your tired and familiar toys behind, and experience playtime with the library’s fun and educational toys.

 

Cosplay for Kids

Saturday, March 24,10:30 am

Come to the library dressed as your favorite superhero or character! Walk the runway, post for your photo op, or make a magic wand or mask to protect your secret identity! Watch movie clips of your favorite character in action!

 

Monday Art Day

Monday, March 26, any time, all day

Visit the Children’s library to make a special project. Or, take the project home to complete.

 

Build It Day! Towers of Fun!

Tuesday, March 27, 2:00 pm

Explore STEM ideas with straws, paper tubes, cards, and blocks.

 

Beach Party Lunch Bunch

Wednesday, March 28, Noon

Bring your beach towel and lunch to the Library Beach Party! Watch book-related movies, read some “hot” books with us, make a lei, and enjoy other beachy fun. Tropical dessert provided. Hawaiian shirts are optional, but encouraged!

 

Game Day!

Thursday, March 29, 2:00 pm

Games and Minute-To-Win-It challenges available throughout the Kasian Room. Don’t miss out on playing Bingo, which starts on-the-dot at 2:00 pm!

 

LEGO Club

Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 am

Make a parachute LEGO Man that really flies! Children ages five and up are welcome; an adult must accompany children under seven.
